Dian Dian Pin

Back Download

Dian Dian Pin deals with the traditional wood art industry of Taiwan, which is facing difficulties in finding new young talent. Various skills are introduced, for example the production of stamps, drums and lanterns. The publication consists of several books, which are devoted to different categories of wood art, giving an explanation of their respective history and present situation. In addition, they contain black-and-white illustrations in the style of wood engravings. There are DIY items complementing the books, offering the reader the opportunity to make a piece of wood art themselves.
