This catalogue is dedicated to the ceramic work of Ettore Sottsass, a designer who used to make sketches of his ceramics, to which he added marginal notes and arrows. The catalogue’s concept has incorporated these elements by digitising both the handwritten additions and the arrows. Moreover, the photographs of the objects are contrasted with pages from an architectural magazine from the 1960s. They show the objects in the context of the interior design considered modern at that time. With its use of paper, colour and typography, the catalogue cover reflects the combination of matte hues with glossy, colourful surfaces.
