EXPO 2012 YEOSU KOREA

Back

The design of these two posters represent the vision of the EXPO 2012 in Yeosu, “The Living Ocean and Coast”, in focusing on the relationship between man and nature as a theme. The lifeline of the human hand symbolises the idea of a new beginning, which becomes possible through wise utilisation and protection of the earth. The second poster uses the symbol for Yeosu, the camellia, and combines it with the organic shape of two merging bodies. These again symbolise the connection between the sea and the coast.
