“Forest Stand” deals with reckless meat consumption, visualising the topic in the form of posters, action figures and complementary accessories. Five elderly animals represent endangered species in Taiwan. At first glance, the scenarios look like a nostalgic toy world. But they quickly reveal a dark core, as the animals turn out to be market vendors selling meat specialties. It is through this pinch of black humour that the characters get the message across – consumers are supposed to stop the macabre sellout and change their eating habits.
