Website
franzoesische-kirche.de

The website for the Französische Kirche (French Church) at the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin creates a close relationship with the user and, at the same time, provides various sources of information. The concept and the structure meet the challenge to create a contemporary, modern self-portrayal of a church that has already existed since 1672, but its religious life happens in many locations and therefore can’t be connected to only one place. An aesthetically consistent design and a user-friendly navigation centred around a virtual “curtain” accomplish this. The curtain separates theological content and day-to-day schedules in an elegant, sophisticated manner.
