Fukushima erleuchtet.

Back Download

This poster depicts the night-time lighting in Japan before the earthquake on March 11th 2011 in comparison to the situation afterwards. The dark blue of the background can be interpreted as the “night” and the yellow dots as the “light”. Based on the fact that the German word “erleuchten” actually means both “illuminate” as well as “inspire”, the poster encourages people to reflect on the circumstances of the nuclear disaster of Fukushima.
