This pavilion at the 2015 Guangzhou Design Week illustrates the main topic of “Haze”, the concern for ubiquitous ecological pollution, via an interactive art installation. It consists of several connected boxes and electronic screens set in the space of the ends. The audience was confronted with different images projected onto the glass screens or the ground. The gradient laminated glass was arranged in elevation to evoke a sense of nothingness in the audience. This was meant to remind people of the haze that fills the air in the cities of China, actually making it difficult for them to see one another.
