The fictional Swiss girl Heidi has been revived by artist Piroska Szönye, and now, as a grown-up, her story is being continued nostalgically. The result is a handmade piece of art in the shape of a book, which gives the readers the impression of holding Heidi’s own handwritten recipe book in their hands. Each of the 4,444 copies is produced individually. Several recipes are written onto sandwich paper and numerous inlays attest to artisan skills. The inspiring art book has been compiled not only digitally, but also by hand and with experimental methods such as syrup scripture, stamps and stencils, handwriting and letraset.
