House of Tales

Back

The new interpretation of the ceiling motifs at the Casa do Conto in Porto, Portugal, a 19th-century art residence and home, follows a clear conceptual approach. Writers familiar with the house penned texts for the individual rooms of the residence, which once carried the name “House of Tales”. Each text is designed in a different graphic style, thus enabling each room to tell a unique story that sets it apart from the others. In the common areas, fragments of text from the individual rooms have been artfully assembled into a harmonious unit.
