Taiwan has a diverse bird life but many species are threatened with extinction due to environmental damage. With kites, showing colour illustrations of the endangered species, such as the Flamecrest or the Swinhoe’s pheasant, the project aims to raise awareness of this problem. The kites come in exquisite folding boxes, each featuring the illustration of a bird. This colourfully designed image is complemented by a realistic black-and-white illustration inside the box. The elaborate packaging emphasises the importance of bird protection.
