Athletic elegance

Having emerged from the tradition of famous long-distance races such as the Italian Mille Miglia, all Gran Turismo sports cars embody both the spirit of car racing and the fascination of comfortable driving over long distances. The Kia Stinger was vastly inspired by the spirit of historic GT models. Taking up their characteristic traits, it nonetheless consciously deviates from contemporary sports car designs defined by hard-edged dynamics. Instead, the focus was placed on creating a comfortable and gracious vehicle for spirited long-distance driving. This Gran Turismo impresses with an athletic elegance, rather than overt aggression. Its design language, from its sleek frontal section and its slender flanks to the powerful haunches, is particularly marked by the rear-wheel drive layout. Actually a blueprint for classic Gran Turismo proportions, it features a long bonnet, a short front overhang, an extended wheelbase and broad, muscular rear shoulders. These external cues are complemented by the layout and design of the low-slung cabin. The interior of the vehicle, which is designed as a five-seater with a steeply raked windscreen, offers plenty of space for the driver and passengers, combining sophisticated ergonomics with luxurious equipment. In addition, the Kia Stinger is also fitted with the latest safety, convenience and infotainment systems. In a time-obsessed world, Stinger aims at conveying that it is all about comfortable journeys.
