The newly introduced digital signage system for Koelnmesse replaces the old facility-oriented presentation of information with a plain visitor-oriented solution. This new concept provides better orientation, as thematically related content is displayed in a consistent colour scheme. Visitors can thus recognise immediately which signs are relevant for them and let themselves be guided through the exhibition grounds. In addition, the system alleviates the burden of convention centre administrators, since content can be planned digitally and updated within a short time.
