Jean Paul Gaultier’s new male fragrance is an expression of confident, urban masculinity. The onomatopoeic name, Kokorico, inspired by the cocky outcry of the rooster, embodies the spirit of the fragrance. The highlight of the packaging design is the duality of the flacon: head-on, it shows a man’s face, in profile, and from the side, the silhouette of a torso. This sense of surprise and sensuality is further dramatised with a bold, red and black colour palette.
