The packaging design of this wine brand is characterised by an unconventional label design: The contours of the paper labels with their detailed illustrations are die-cut to leave a gap in the form of a wine chalice between them. This is exactly where the lettering of the wine brand and the vintage is positioned. Also the illustrations of a kneeling knight and an angle direct the attention to the centre. Moving the front of the bottle from the label to the label gap stresses that the content is more important than the labelling.
