Originating from the beaches of Hawaii, surfboards have become part of a lifestyle all around the globe today. The Lampuga Air reinterprets the classical surfboard and enables emission-free mobility on water through an integrated electric jet drive. The dynamiclooking board embodies high ergonomic and technical requirements in an aesthetically pleasing design. Powered by a 10 kW (14 hp) electric motor, the board glides across the water surface at a speed of up to 50 km/h. The board consists of a shape-defining Powerbox containing the board’s technical components and an inflatable and foldable hull. Its design has been perfectly shaped for providing an agile surfing experience. Designed according to modular plug-and-play principles, the board fits into most car trunks and therefore allows for easy transportation. It can be assembled or disassembled in five minutes and ensures simple handling and low maintenance. The board is manoeuvered using weight transfer and features a stabilising tether, enabling surfing for the unexperienced. The acceleration is controlled using the handheld remote control, which connects to the board via Bluetooth. The board is powered by a powerful, removable lithium-ion battery that is externally charged. To ensure a continued riding experience, the concept also includes an additional removable battery.

With its innovative design, the Lampuga Air surfboard enables a new kind of surfing experience, independent of wind and waves. Driven by a powerful electric motor, it offers environmentally responsible operation without emissions. It is easy to transport and features a dynamic shape that is perfectly balanced on the water. In a comfortable manner, it is easy to control by simply shifting one’s weight.
