The aim of the children’s environmental initiative “Plant-for-the-Planet” is to plant a trillion trees worldwide in order to compensate for CO2 emissions. The provocative advertisement and poster campaign for conferences and climate summits addresses potential tree donors to support the project financially. Different silhouettes, cut out from inside a leaf, show notorious polluters such as airplanes, factories and cars. Thus, a single leaf of a tree becomes a synonym for CO2 reduction.
