The Lufthansa CityNavigator offers itself to city travellers as a tool for both discovering their destination and planning their tours. Based on a content mashup, it curates a database of high-quality recommendations collected by an internationally crowdsourced network of real locals, as well as Foursquare and members of the community platform. These recommended places of interest are then composed into an outstanding round trip synchronised with the app. It guides the traveller with real turn-by-turn navigation that works without Internet access, thus eliminating expensive roaming costs.
