When designing the packaging for Make On, the goal was to establish the device as an integral part of women’s daily skin care routine. For that reason, the packaging was to be associated rather with a cosmetic item than with an electronic device. The juxtaposition of sensuality and technology is reflected in the logo, which is composed of the two font types, Script and Sans Serif. Limited to the colours black and white, the packaging is suitable for a range of settings, from elegant dressing room to simple bathroom. The discreet and soft visual aesthetics is oriented towards high-end cosmetics and the world of fashion, whereas the focus is clearly on the product that the model is holding.
