Mercedes-Benz – Nachts im Museum

Back Download

In celebration of the 125th anniversary of the world’s first automobile, this short film creates a mysterious nocturnal world in the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The camera leads the user through wide, dark halls until the sound of a lone horn disrupts the silence. With more and more horns joining in, it becomes clear that the automobiles exhibited in the museum are coming to life. The honking ultimately coalesces in a well-recognised melody, the “Happy Birthday” song. With the final chord, the birthday child is put into focus: the Benz Patent Motor Car, the world’s first automobile.
