The rebranding for Mezz, a relatively small pop concert venue in Breda, Netherlands, was to express the energy and the innovative spirit of the people behind the event, as well as knowledge about discovering fresh talent. The aim of the new brand strategy and redesign of the visual identity was to determine a new position in the market. Inspired by silk-screen prints and punk-rock influences, the visual identity adopted a feel of being handcrafted and authentic. The identity has been translated into a corporate and campaign style, inspirational strategy, volunteer starter kits, as well as online and other media campaigns.
