This campaign focuses on the fact that IKEA furniture requires assembly after purchase. Realising that some families become involved in arguments during the assembly process, miniature replicas of the furniture have been developed. They also have to be assembled and serve a variety of different purposes. The miniature IKEA models can be used as practice before or guidance during the process of assembling the real furniture, or they can be constructed in parallel by children. Moreover, the replica can also function for design education, as interior decor or simply as a toy. Thus, the models help turn the assembly of furniture into an exciting and enjoyable activity, promoting positive communication and a sense of doing things together.
