Here the design task involved realising a temporary MINI brand store located in Europe’s largest shopping mall in London, Westfield Stratford City, to be open for one year only. The store aims to give visitors the opportunity to browse the latest MINI models in a premium retail setting. It clearly differentiates the presentation from conventional car showroom environments and thus addresses a new target group. Realised within a period of only three months, the store showcases contemporary retail technology, including a touch-based interactive mirror that allows customers to virtually try on the outfits on sale. In addition, using a 3D car configurator, they can create their own MINI in 3D and request a test drive.
