MySkin is a new skincare brand in a contested market dominated by established brands. In order to convey the product’s promise of being the right cream for any skin type, an innovative packaging was developed that feels similar to skin. The surface structure of the paper was altered to match the haptic properties of skin using additives like silicone, chalk, and other structural elements. Thus, packaging types were created which feel like human skin: sometimes dry and rough, sometimes oily and shiny or just normal. The logo shows a fingerprint which visually highlights the tactile buying experience.
