Neocraft is a design that enables creativity in remote controlled flight. The product gives pilots the ability to create a functional airframe from a variety of modular, interchangeable parts. These parts include different fuselage, wings, canopies, nose, and tail sections. Making substitutions to the frame offers the user opportunities to make repairs quickly and easily, as well as change the characteristics of their model in both appearance and performance. Neocraft offers users an alternative approach in the pursuit of usable parts because it is intended to rely much more on the value of its components rather than the airplane as a whole. By offering pilots a modular product and parts that fit universally, the concern of compatibility can be disregarded. Pilots will be able to approach a unique market for replacement parts focused on how each product looks and performs, knowing that it will fit. To inexperienced users, RC flying may seem intricate and difficult to approach. Aircraft tend to differ in their flight characteristics and, consequently, in difficulty to pilot. When someone is new to the hobby, they will generally start with a ‘beginner’ plane. From there, the majority of pilots will acquire new aircraft to explore the possibilities of flight characteristics. With the capacity to swap out portions of the plane, Neocraft also introduces an opportunity to explore performance incrementally.
