The characters of the Chinese calligraphy are reinterpreted by being drawn as filigree, calligraphic buildings. Drastically altered by the use of the art of calligraphy, a code of architectural characters is generated, which internalises classical as well as future architecture. In adding familiar elements of the Chinese culture to the new characters, such as lanterns or porcelain, the design aims to depict a new China in a calligraphic way.
