The key exhibits of the paläon – Research and Experience Centre Schöninger Spears are eight spears which are more than 300,000 years old. The corporate design of the paläon, which opened in 2013, conveys its variety and emphasises the special connection of research and experience in one place. The spear is also part of the logo, it breaks through the letters and divides the word mark into two halves. The spearhead as a symbol of hunting is applied to various media. Cheerful imagery shows scenes from the museum, without spoiling the surprise or giving too much away about the exhibition.
