Typeface
Piroska
The Piroska typeface by Austrian artist Nikolaus Eberstaller is like a glance into the past when typefaces were still designed by hand and not on a computer. Thanks to their rectilinear design, the three variants, Piroska regular, open and petite, look genuine and authentic, while also featuring convincing characteristic details such as the small āsā, which is shaped by two abstract curves, distinguishing it clearly from conventional typefaces. Piroska is used on the Strehn wine label, but also in art and design projects of the artist such as Honey-Home Made Money and Geldwelt (money world).
