PONE Transparent Shell

Back

The attempt to rediscover the alternating potential of orderly construction led to the form of a huge “Transparent Shell” in this exhibition design. The construction is also the result of a search for an architecture that is able to further interact with and blend cities, environments, human beings and space. Visualising the process of creating and recreating, the whole device consists of 30 main bone models and three groups of large radian curves, realised through woven and criss-crossed layers. Visitors are invited to ponder the meaning of various “shell” functions, thus constructing a space with “flexible functions”.
