In order to understand the world around them, children interact with it in their very own way. The Pudding BeanQ is an intelligent robot designed especially for small children in China. Symbolising the children’s early development, the robot is inspired by the form of a bean to attract attention. This form is intended to visualise the concept that a bean waiting to sprout comes to earth with curiosity and is looking forward to interacting with the world. The design of this robot is concisely geared toward the principles of fun, ease of use and safety. With its colourful appearance and rounded, cute design language, it aims at inviting children to play with it. With tactile sensation in mind, its body has been designed in such a way that it feels comfortable and is reminiscent of touching a pet. The robot’s actions look natural, since the included angle between the plane of rotation and the level is five degrees, allowing the body to rotate 330 degrees. Moreover, the robot is supported by a rich mimetic repertoire with easy-to-understand, characteristic emotions. This makes it enjoyable and smooth for children to have fun with and experience various interactions such as video chatting, playing games, being kept company and educated. For safety reasons, the Pudding BeanQ comes with a formally matched yet separate charging base. Its design interprets a robot in an impressive new way – it merges an inspired form with a well thought-out educational concept.

Moreover, the smart functions of this robot are also perfectly adapted to the world of children. The Pudding BeanQ helps them in their daily life. It not just instructs them to go to bed, but also inspires them while playing.
