This SOOSAN Drill Rig is designed for drilling and surface blasting in mines, quarries, and construction sites. We adopted a dynamic and robust exterior design equipped with an ergonomically designed cabin structure to reduce operator’s fatigue. Every part of the drill rig is built with dynamics in harmony with the exterior's strong aesthetic identity that communicates a sense of high gear speed. This crawler drill rig has an optimised cabin and control structures for global standard body types. Safety-wise, the component layout considers the weight balance for functional stability and balance, minimising any potential for accidents. The slanted top of the engine cover ensures good wide rear vision of an operator. For the operator's convenience and safety, all functional hydraulic levers and switches have been rearranged to be within reach, and the visibility of switches on the main console improved. The slim design with a compact internal structure increases dynamics while reducing production cost. In consideration of the price of steel, the cabin design avoids stereoscopic volume and uses a graphic decal to highlight connections with the body. Using common parts and a modular assembly layout helps maintain functionality and further lower cost. Lastly, eco-friendly and high-efficiency power and control systems are adopted to reduce fuel consumption and emission per unit work. This drill rig is positioned to ensure low pollution and high fuel economy, as well as an optimal performance of related functions.
