“Santa-o-Mat – Shake Your X-Mas Card” allows users to send humorous Christmas greetings to family and friends. First, users take a photo of their eyes. Then, with just one stroke of the finger, they add them to a combination of different noses, mouths, hairstyles or hats, which portray emotions of impatient anticipation, stunned amazement or boundless silliness. By shaking the iPhone or iPad, a new combination is suggested. The design concept is reminiscent of mix and match books for children, which underlines the app’s playful character. Finally, together with a few personal lines, the card can be sent via e-mail or Facebook.
