A corporate design has been developed for the northern German small town of Schöningen with the aim of making it more known and changing its image. The initiative conveys a genuine impression of the town and emphasises its attractive characteristics. The logo plays with a unique feature, the presence of the German word “schön” (nice) in its name, by making it visually prominent. Bright colours are used to present the various areas of town. Furthermore, a shifting combination of three adjectives, together with an appropriate message, is a significant feature of the corporate design.
