Commissioned by the Swiss Council for Accident Prevention (BfU), this info campaign aimed at capturing the attention of the general population – and especially pupils – in order to emphasise the importance of good visibility on roads. At the centre of the campaign is a poster with the English phrase “See You” written on it, which is understood in all four of the language regions of Switzerland. The effect consists of the words being illegible from close up and becoming more and more distinct with increasing distance. This optical phenomenon was effectively employed to visualise both seeing and not seeing.
