Buddhist statues and accoutrements such as aloes wood incense are part of the product range of SENSE, a leading store in China. The packaging design extends the concept of the logo and symbolises the wisdom of Buddhism. The package shows an ancient map of China and Southeast Asia, indicating the origin of incense. Black, grey and white, the hues of incense ash, are religious colours and represent a state of enlightenment. The three shades are applied here to represent the grade level of aloes wood: the darker the packaging, the higher the grade.
