This short film is about Magnus, a peasant girl living in isolation, who immerses herself in the world of singers of the past. When she stumbles upon an open-call singing audition, she jumps at the chance to be a star, despite the struggles with success which may come with a career as a singer. The film tells the story with powerful imagery and music. Self-critical questions about one’s own aspirations and goals for the present and future are constantly shining through. Is that really what I want to do? Am I really good enough? These are the questions the drama brings up.
