The Raindance Select 150 EcoSmart shower head is the result of an intensive design process that led to innovative characteristics as well as the comfort offered through intuitive operation. Aiming to convey this, the design of the packing concept focused on visualising the “smartness” of the shower head. The shower heads were given the faces of other “smart heads” of our time as visual highlights – those of visionaries, masters or inventors. A surprising as well as humorous aspect of this concept is that the shower heads themselves, lying inside the packaging but visible from the outside, also form the basic geometric shape for the faces of these illustrations. The packages were produced in a strictly limited edition and first only sent to business partners.

Statement by the Jury

Embodying an outstanding concept for a shower head, the packaging design grabs attention at first sight. It is thorough and sophisticated, immediately shows what it is about and impresses with its nicely crafted illustrations. The interaction between product and packaging is well conceived and provides ample reason to smile.
