SOL Bottle and Outer Box – Portal to the sun

The design concept of the new SOL bottle for the international premium pils market segment was inspired by the original Mexican SOL bottle, aiming to create a balance between authenticity and a premium image. As the central design element, the sun stands for independence – Espíritu Libre. The strong and harmonious circular logo is stamped onto a transparent sun graphic. In tribute to the brand’s roots, the original name of the Mexican brewery is embossed on the bottle shoulder. Two bottles of the beer are stored in a handmade, anthracite wooden box with red leather straps, which unlocks by sliding open the bottom side of the box.
