Sport+ Rebrand

The aim of the rebranding strategy of the television channel Sport+ was to design a symbolic interpretation of “redoing the match”. The on-air design of the channels Sport+ and Infosport+ has been adapted to go along with a new style guide tailored to the multi-thematic channels of the group Canal+. This harmonisation is expressed through a graphic coupling of the two channels through an angular rock motif. A black monolith with varying angles and surfaces serves as a stage for all sorts of sports to be displayed on. The use of super-slow-motion techniques and varied speeds emphasise the athletic aspect against a backdrop which, thanks to its moving planes, lends the imagery a touch of the fantastic and enhances the individual performances.
