To communicate the message that Sprite is a “refreshing” brand, the Drone Painter campaign demonstrated to viewers a creative use of drones. It gave them the opportunity to create their own mural on a specially designed website. Based on innovative software with an AI-based algorithm, the drone could be controlled without the need of human touch. The software analyses the wind speed and wind direction that enable the drone to fly safely and stably near the wall, allowing it to compose the individual elements of the mural and paint them layer by layer. The best painting was selected from the hundreds of murals made.
