For a German art foundation with a top-class collection, a new and distinct visual identity was created. The objective was, in addition to designing a logo and corporate stationery, to develop consistent branding for the relaunch exhibition, including exhibition design, banners, posters and a website. An unobtrusive typographical approach – the negative intersection of two colour planes forming the “Ziegler-Z” – was intentionally selected so as to pay tribute to the foundation’s tradition and history, and also to direct focus towards the artwork itself.
