Superbleeper’s set of blocks have been designed to teach children to visualise the math behind music. The system is shaped by the relationships between concepts like patterns, shapes, measurement, proportions, time, sets and number sense. When students put the blocks or combinations of blocks on the sides of the big cube, the corresponding sound is played in a rhythmic pattern. Some visual feedback about the numerical properties of that sound is also displayed on that side of the cube. The box plays the blocks of each side following a sequential order, and the blocks can be changed in real time. The duration, the pitch, the timbre and the scale correspond to the properties of the block attached.
