The advertising campaign for the flowers delivery company Fleurop contrasts two different means of communication with one another: the sending of SMS messages on the one hand and the sending of a flower greeting on the other. Simple headlines that play a film in the mind of the beholder tell amusing stories: the SMS messages contain apologies for things that have gone horribly wrong and for that words are not enough. Compared to them, the message “Some texts should be sent as flowers” hidden inside a bouquet of flowers seems much more convincing and appeals emotionally to the target group.
