This serving plate was designed for keeping food at the right temperature for a longer time. Its three components are tailored to work together seamlessly: an elegant ceramic plate sits on a polished wood base, with space for a thin hot or cold pack in between. Before serving, the pack must either be cooled for six to eight hours in the freezer or heated briefly in a microwave or baking oven. In addition, the ceramic plate and wood base can also be used separately.
