The Blind See More | Red Dot Design Award

In order to raise awareness in Germany of a revolutionary method for the early diagnosis of breast cancer, this corporate design was created under the motto “the blind see more”. Thanks to their extraordinarily well-developed sense of touch, blind women can already detect even the smallest of tumours at an early stage. This overarching idea is translated into an expressive and visually striking typographical concept. Using letters from the Braille alphabet, which complete the typography in the headings, is a method which appeals to our emotions and demonstrates just how effectively blind people and seeing people can work together in the diagnosis of cancer.
