This innovative calling greeting card was developed to demonstrate the pioneering spirit of O2 as a telecommunications provider to its business partners. It presents a contemporary reinterpretation of a traditional greeting card: each O2 greeting card features the basic elements of a mobile phone, including a speaker and GSM unit. When the recipient opens the card a call is automatically made to the sender, so that both can speak to each other. The idea sparked: after the launch, the now patent-pending card generated a buzz throughout the international media.
