Tongdo-sa Temple

The identity of the Tongdo-sa temple is embodied by a stupa motif. It symbolises the temple’s various treasures and designated cultural assets. In addition, at Tongdo-sa, the stupa is part of a pagoda that enshrines small crystals of Buddha as relics. The identity visualises the stupa in various forms of lines and faces, conveying Korean sentiment and tradition, as well as modern beauty. For the logotype, the long-established typeface of the temple’s signboard was used and rendered in a warm grey tone to evoke the beauty of tradition and authority.
