A House Wide Shut

返回 Download

A House Wide Shut is a house where physical and informational spaces intertwine. With this structure, people, homes and even surroundings can ‘disappear’ or remain open to the world. Glass is often used to divide spaces or as interface surfaces between us and the digital world. A House Wide Shut is where real and virtual go hand-in-hand, and the beauty of the physical world is augmented by the freedom of a digital one. The structure consists of three layers of glass facades. The outer shell blocks wind, sun and even undesired views. The next layer has full AR capabilities while the final layer can display multimedia and information. All glass walls are fully interactive, can be used for privacy screening, information display and environment augmentation. They are equipped with translucent displays that act as intelligent shades and media displays from individual rooms to even the outer shell of the house.
