The Aquarea K & L Generations air-to-water heat pumps use the heat from the air to heat water. The L series uses the low greenhouse gas, natural refrigerant R290. It operates more quietly than the previous model and can deliver water at a higher temperature. The front grille covers the entire outdoor unit, while the finish is held in a dark matt tone. “This gives the unit an understated aesthetic that harmonises with a variety of different exterior walls. In addition, it blends well with outdoor spaces, whether rural or urban,” the jury’s assessment stated.
