archelis

archelis is a passive support system, a chair that can be worn on the body. It works without electricity and reduces fatigue in surgeons during long operations. The product is fixed to each leg separately using Velcro straps. The ergonomic design adapts to the body, fixes the angle of knee and ankle and thus carries the body weight while supporting wide areas of shin and thigh. Users can easily switch between “Upright”, “Sitting” and “Free” modes with just one push of a button. All control elements are orange for high visibility.
