Against the backdrop of an increasing lack of housing space in big cities, the Show Flat Bigger+ visualises the con-cept of a functional “smart convertible space”. As a module-based system, it offers a big variety of spatial possibilities, allowing people to define their own spaces by plugging in 13 different modules. The individual units – including a folding sofa, folding bed, convertible slab, mobile cabinet system and convertible staircase – can be freely arranged within the 40 sqm flat, turning it into a one- or two-bedroom loft or even a party space.
